Architecting Intelligence, Together.
The AWS Machine Learning University Annual Conference brings together visionary educators, students, technologists, and institutional leaders to shape the future of AI-powered higher education.
Democratizing AI Education
The Machine Learning University initiative is Amazon Web Services' commitment to making world-class AI and machine learning education accessible to every institution and every learner. Through deep partnerships with HBCUs and universities nationwide, we are building the infrastructure—both technological and human—to ensure the AI revolution leaves no campus behind.
Our 2026 conference at Howard University and Amazon HQ2 represents the convergence of academic tradition and technological innovation—a two-day immersion designed to equip attendees with the tools, connections, and vision to lead AI transformation on their campuses.
From Campus to Cloud
We envision a future where every university campus is a launchpad for AI innovation—where faculty integrate machine learning across disciplines, students build real-world AI solutions, and institutional leaders drive strategic digital transformation with confidence.
The conference's four tracks—Cloud Connect, Educators Consortium, Visionary Tech Collaborative, and Transformation Alliance—ensure that every stakeholder in higher education finds their entry point into the AI ecosystem.
